UTK Materials Science and Engineering sophomore, Marlena Alexander presented a poster on her undergraduate research at the TMS 2023 Annual Meeting & Exhibition from March 19–23, 2023 in San Diego. Her poster, titled “Investigation of High Entropy Precursor Powder Synthesis for Transparent Ceramic Synthesis”, won the Functional Materials Division Undergraduate Student Poster Contest. Marlena performed this research in the Scintillation Materials Research Center at the University of Tennessee, under the mentorship of Associate Professor Mariya Zhuravleva.
