MSE Adjunct Professor Orlando Rio Receives HENAAC Award

UT MSE Adjunct Professor and ORNL staff scientist, Dr. Orlando Rios (Pictured in the middle with Co-Authors) has been recognized with an Outstanding Technical Achievement award from HENAAC, the Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Corporation.

 

Dr. Rios has collaborated with MSE professor, David Keffer, and currently serves on the PhD committees of two MSE graduate students, Valerie García-Negrón & Dayton Kizzire, who investigate the use of lignin-based carbon composites in energy storage applications.
