The MSE department hosted “Industry Night” with a panel of five recent UTK MSE alumni who are working in the industry across the country. The three key pillars of the MSE mentoring programs MSE for Me (freshman) and MSE CaRes (upper classmen) are social support, academic support and nutritional support. These important elements were present along with advice from the alumni panelists. The panelists took turns answering questions regarding how they were successful in finding and securing industrial internships and jobs.
