Two professors from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering have won awards for 2022 from the UT Graduate Student Senate (GSS), conferred at the senate’s awards ceremony on April 6, 2022.
Professor Yanfei Gao won Graduate Director of the Year, which recognizes his contributions as the Director of Graduate Studies. Professor Bin Hu won Graduate Research Mentor of the Year.
Both Gao and Hu rank in the Top 2% of World Scientists from a recent Stanford University study, and they also ranked high via Research.com.
