The Materials Science & Engineering Department was well represented at the 2023 Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURēCA), an annual poster event and competition held at the University of Tennessee on April 25, 2023.
Three posters from the MSE Community received awards. In the research category, Marlena Alexander (pictured right), mentored by Prof. Mariya Zhuravleva, won Honorable Mention. Nicole Lui (CBE left), mentored by Prof. Kate Page, was awarded Second Place.
In the design category, Team Volkswagen, mentored by Prof. David Harper, won First Place and included Melanie Moczadlo (MSE, second to left), Chris Webb (MSE center), Conner Cornachione (MSE, second to right) and Alex Bowman (MSE, not pictured.) Congratulations to all.
