The Association for Iron & Steel Technology, AIST, awarded UTK MSE undergraduate student Raymond Wysmierski its Southeast Member Chapter’s 
Gene Suave Scholarship. From the AIST website, the purpose of the award is to reward and encourage an AIST Southeast Chapter high school senior or college undergraduate student, preparing for a career in Engineering or the sciences. This scholarship fund is for members of the Materials Advantage program.
Raymond is a third year student majoring in Materials Science & Engineering. He works as an undergraduate research assistant with Prof. Hahn Choo and and is a member of the local chapter of Materials Advantage.
