The MSE department held its Cultural Seminar featuring the Philippines to celebrate diversity and promote cross-cultural understanding. Vincent Garcia and Carla Nocheseda are PhD students in the Materials Science & Engineering Department, who have traveled from the Philippines to Knoxville for their doctoral studies. The two delivered the seminar sharing information about their country and sharing sweet treats. Thanks to Vincent and Carla and all who participated in this fun and educational cultural event.
