In collaboration with the local student chapter of Material Advantage, the MSE department hosted “Industry Night” with a panel of five recent UTK MSE alumni who are working in industry across the country.
At the event, the MSE mentoring programs MSE for Me (freshman) and MSE CaRes (sophomores, juniors and seniors) provided social support, career support and nutritional support. These important elements were present along with advice from the alumni panelists. The panelists took turns answering questions regarding how they were successful in finding and securing industrial internships and jobs.
