Many students from the UTK Materials Science and Engineering department attended the TMS 2023 Annual Meeting & Exhibition from March 19-23,2023 in San Diego. Four of them participated in the TMS Materials Bowl, a materials-themed knowledge and trivia competition held each year. This year’s team was composed of (from left to right) graduate student Cole Franz, sophomore Marlena Alexander, senior Raymond Wysmierski and senior Jack Fredrick. They had fun representing the department and showing off their knowledge and trivia.
